Disabled Veteran Job Opportunities – Where To Go For Guidance
Welcome, Everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
Today I’d like to share a few opportunities with you that I am aware of in regard to employment for the disabled. This includes, but is not limited to, veterans.
It can be very disappointing to search and search for an opportunity, ANY opportunity for employment when you are recently disabled.
And if you’ve been disabled for a long period, you are familiar with the struggle.
The hunt for a well-paying, accommodating job can seem overwhelming…but luckily there are companies out there (like the one we will discuss in this article), that aim to make the process simpler, and far less frustrating.
**Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with gettinghired.com. I just appreciate a legitimate company when i see one 🙂.
Let’s take a look!
Getting Hired (gettinghired.com) is a website devoted to helping people find inclusive employers.
They offer a large list of companies to choose from in many locations, each with its own positions to apply for.
Some are remote positions, which is ideal for certain types of disabilities. Others are open positions at each particular company.
When visiting the website, you are able to view many job openings, choose the positions that you would like to apply for, and apply straight from the website.
Each job opportunity has a detailed outline of what the requirements are for the position, as well as what the tasks and expectations will be. It’s very thorough!
And keep in mind that you don’t have to worry about which companies are inclusive and accommodating. All of them are.
This is how Getting Hired defines disability, and what they will work off of to determine qualification:
Create A Resume
if you wish to, you can create an account on gettinghired.com and submit your resume.
This will allow potential employers to view and assess what your skills are, increasing your chance of obtaining a position with that company.
Creating a resume also puts you one step ahead of the competition because when a company is searching for a particular candidate for a position, your resume will already be on file, and will be accessible to hundreds of companies.
As you can see from the photo above, the website is super easy to navigate. You can view job listings from all over the U. S, or narrow the search down to your particular state.
As many of you know, I am in the business of reviewing companies that make claims (however outrageous they may be) to help you earn an income online.
While not all the positions found within this company’s website give you an opportunity to work remotely, this seems to be a very legitimate company.
If you are a disabled individual or veteran, this is a great place to search for a job!
2. Work From Home
If you are interested in an opportunity to work from your home computer, all you need to do is create a free website and begin writing.
Wealthy Affiliate is the website hosting platform that I use, in which I created my website within about 90 seconds.
I began creating content, writing about what I am passionate about, and had my website up and running with graphics and blog posts within a few days!
And NO! You don’t have to be a professional writer…or know anything about it, to be honest!
At Wealthy Affiliate you have access to a ton of free training that will explain the entire process, and a community of great people to answer any questions you may have!
No experience required, and no knowledge of fancy tech talk either 😉. I was a cosmetologist before I began this at-home business, guys.
